WHY WE BUILT DORO
you know what they say about unconditional love and the things it makes you do?
this platform came as a result of the very same emotion: my infinite admiration for Mr. Ratan Naval Tata and an unconditional love for our furry friends. once, while going through Mr. Tata’s post on Instagram about the adoption of Myra (a Labrador) the thought stuck me – how about creating an organic platform where we encourage humans to adopt and thereby build a network of homes for man's best friends?
I wanted to do my bit and ensure that these beautiful beings have a home and a pal to share their infinite love.
WHAT DORO IS ALL ABOUT
Doro was conceptualized and founded with the intent of building an ecosystem where our furry friends find their forever homes with families and not in shelters or on streets.
Doro is a platform built to encourage pet parents and pet lovers to ADOPT, and to choose unlimited wagging and unconditional love!
HOW DORO WORKS
the Doro Android app facilitates the listing of dogs looking to be adopted in a forever family. prospective adopters can browse through the list of dogs and choose one they want to take home.
on the other hand, users can also list dogs that are abandoned on the streets or shelter homes for interested people to adopt. it also allows dog owners to enlist their current dogs up for adoptions, in case they are unable to keep them home for any unforeseen circumstances.
